Thieves steal 70 bikes in a month (From Echo)

• "My friend had his stolen at Basildon train station. I dont think its just Southend and Westcliff, I think other areas need to be targeted to by police. Its no good just targeting a minority of stations, because thieves would simply just move onto a couple of stations down the line. Infact I think it would be good if every station is monitored on the c2c line, Shoebury to Fenchurch street. I think a large number of bikes have been taken at Benfleet too, ive read a few reportings in the past."
