A MAN has died after a dinghy capsized off Southend seafront this afternoon.
An air ambulance landed on Southend seafront after two men were brought to shore by the RNLI.
The pair had to be plucked from the sea near Thorpe Bay yacht club at about 2.30pm today by the RNLI.
A man in his seventies was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second man was taken to Southend Hospital with suspected hypothermia.
