Great news - and good luck!

Marsh Farm always felt like one of those attractions that didn't merit its high costs. Certainly needed some investment, and seems like it's gone to someone who knows what they want.

I wish you look in your venture, but maybe you should focus some energy onto party man Basildon , my wife and I took our daughter there on wed this week after school , not only did the staff there look unhappy and rushed off there feet the place looked neglected, tables full of cutlery and everything just felt sticky and unclean, there were bowls of stale crisps left In the unused party rooms that toddlers were helping them selfs to , dust and dirt everywhere , the whole buildind needs a good deep clean and staff restructuring.

All too familiar I'm afraid. The English should never get involved in the food service industry. We generally have no idea about service, cleanliness or customer service. But in any event, very best wishes on the intention for Marsh Farm and please try to obtain the services of a strict NON English/British Manager at the restaurant as it will all end in tears...

How do you know that the staff were English or otherwise? And how can you support the employment of foreigners over our own countrymen? Bad service has nothing to do with nationality and everything to do with low wages and low expectations. It sounds like you are xenophobic against your own country. If, indeed, this IS your country.

Always someone to moan about something...how about wishing someone who is trying the best of luck. . Maybe then they can look at the bigger picture. For the record EVERY children's play areas i have taken my kids to r staffed by moody looking students/teenagers.

Well said. Actually the place does not exist for the enjoyment of adults, it is for the children. And I have no doubt that his children enjoyed their day very much.

I did wish him well if you open your eyes! We have been going to party man for the last 3/4 years , but the last few visits have noticed a decline , if I were a business owner I'd want to know if my customers had any issues, and yes my daughter did enjoy her visit , but as a parent I will be going to alternative play areas if things stay the same on my next visit, my wife and I have spoken to other parents and they also have noticed things are slipping!

I agree. I've been there today and it's the dirtiest, most unhygienic and over-priced soft play place I've ever had the misfortune to visit. Other posters - yes, undoubtedly the children enjoyed it but overflowing toilets and mountains of rubbish everywhere do not make a fun outing for parents, or a healthy one for children. I support the good wishes for Mr Sinclair but he may want to sort out his existing outlets before taking on more.
