20 year-old man left with seven inch cut to face following assault in Grays alleyway

A MAN was left with a seven inch cut to his face following a suspected assault in a Grays alleyway.

The attack on the 20 year-old took place off East Street between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, January 16.

A white Ford Fiesta was seen leaving the schene, and two men were later arrested on suspicion of causing grievious bodily harm with intent.

A 32 year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and is currently on court bail.

The second suspect, a 23 year-old man, has been realeased on police bail until March.

Police are still keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
