POLICE have released the image of a man suspected of sending a string of threatening text messages.

Officers are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Paul Dowman, 31, who previously lived in Billericay.

Anyone with information that would assist police is urged to contact Dc Chris Rhodes on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

More police needed on the street Level....... Crime is on the up with no convictions due to complicated Laws preventing prosecution..... of these sort od people. They play the system for their benefit....... Change the laws !.

Na they have more important things to deal with, the cost (they have budgets to keep to) & time are not worth it.

The fact they have given 101 as the contact number sums up how urgent / important they think this is.

The Echo is only doing the story as they have nothing else to talk about an the police just happened to release his photo this week.
