POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Wickford.

A man went into the Co-op, in High Street, selected various items of alcohol from the shelf and left without paying for them.

It happened just after 8pm on Tuesday, January 22.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Adam Blackwell on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

You would like to think with all the technology about, and watch schemes and advances in the Police you would hope that public appeals would be a thing of the past - we live in hope !

There isn't a Co Op in Wickford High Street. There are 3 Co Ops in Wickford, none of them are in the High Street.
