Firefighters tackle flat fire in Tilbury

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze in a third floor flat in Dunlop Road, Tilbury.

Crews from Orsett and Grays were called to Garner Court just before 6.30pm on  on Thursday, March 7 where the flat was 25 per cent alight and 100 per cent smoke logged.

The flames were put out by 7.30pm.

An Essex County Fire and Rescue service spokesman said no investigation would take place and there was nothing suspicious about the cause of the blaze.
