Welcome to Pothole Street, say residents

NEIGHBOURS are so frustrated by the number of holes in their road they want to rename it Pothole Street.
Residents living in Windsor Gardens, Benfleet, claim around 12 potholes are causing damage to their cars and vehicles are kicking-up lose gravel which is hitting pedestrians.
Brian Monk, 66, claims he contacted the council about one pothole which is more than 36 inches wide and five inches deep but was told it was not be classed as a priority.
He said: “Things are that bad in this road we are now considering starting a petition."

I wrote that before I had a peek at Google Street View. What a mess! Looking at those concrete driveways dropped through the footways, I expect not many elderly people live there - for long.
