Man left with serious face injuries after attack

A MAN has been left with serious face injuries after an attack.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the 49-year-old was glassed in the face outside  Fatty’s Bar in High Street, Hadleigh.

The victim, who lives locally, suffered a cut to the left side of his face.

A 23-year-old man from Leigh has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and released on bail pending further enquiries until May 26.

The incident happened at about 5.50pm on Sunday, March 10.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help police with their investigation is asked to call PC Lewis Gordon at Rayleigh Police Station on 101.
