These Kent-types think they can pop up out of the tunnel in their fancy cars and impress us.

Well, we've got plenty more accelerant where that came from.

Yes, a local would have known better than to take a Lambo onto Devil's Island - he clearly didnt see the "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here" sign by the bridge and leave it in Benfleet.

When you live on an island your horizons are restricted and small. This is reflected in what aspirations you have...none. Drugs, alcohol, petty lawbreaking, violence and TOWIE this is your world - these are your horizons and the CIIP pander to them. They have closed off the minds of Canvey let us be Independent of the mainland we hear them cry, lets us make our own decisions we are independent. Except you're not, you have been brainwashed and it shows - not to you - but to us in the real world.

Having recently migrated from Kent to South Essex I now feel a bit put out (no pun intended - honest!) that no one has tried to torch my fiesta.

Its the same both sides of the river (and everywhere else for that matter). Leaving a super car in an unsecured state is always going to attract the wrong sort of attention unless you are somewhere like puerto banus.

well done, you have managed to master the act of cutting and pasting your 'insightful' comment from one thread into another.

1) Park supercar in quiet area of Essex 2) Set fire to it 3) Head home to report it stolen and claim on insurance.

No.2 went badly wrong?

who saw these pyro yobs ? I agree with Miles and this seems a botched insurance scam. Could have been another drug war of jealousy. I for one dontthink Dartford is any more upmarket than Canvey and this seems the preserve of footballers and stockbrokers.

sounds a botched insurance scam or a drug deal gone bad through jealousy. Lambos in Dartford coming to Canvey. All seems like fish out of water
