Southend United star accused of giving false details to dodge speeding fines
SOUTHEND United ace Michael Timlin was due in court today accused of supplying false details to avoid speeding fines.
The Blues star is alleged to have claimed other people were driving his Audi A3 when it was allegedly caught speeding - on three occasions.
Timlin, 28, from Pomeroy Street, south east London, was listed to appear at Southend Magistrates Court.
He has been summonsed on three counts of perverting the course of justice, by supplying false details to Essex Police, after receiving speed camera prosecution notices requesting driver details.
