Shoebury seawall meeting is postponed
11:35am Monday 7th October 2013 in News
A MEETING over a controversial seawall planned for Shoebury has been postponed to allow residents to submit questions.
A cross-party group of Southend councillors was due to discuss plans for a two-metre high embankment across Shoebury Common tonight (Monday).
Southend Council only released the results of a consultation over the plan, published in the Echo on Friday, on Saturday.
It demands the public submit questions five days before a meeting, meaning residents were unable to ask questions about the report.
