M25 is closed near Thurrock

A nightmare day for drivers on the M25 is continuing after a serious crash has closed the anti-clockwise track of the motorway near to Thurrock.
The road was closed at about 1pm near to junction 31 because of recovery work after the smash.
Congestion is currently backed up to junction four as traffic is beging routed round the junction 31 exit.
It continues a day of woe for drivers, with the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge closed until late morning because of the high winds, and another two lorry crash delaying motorists at the Dartford Crossing entrance, clockwise.
