TOWIE star brings glamour to the supermarket aisles
6:50pm Wednesday 30th October 2013 in News
TOWIE TV star Abi Clarke brought a touch of glamour to a supermarket to raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice.
Abi visited Budgens, in Ferry Road, Hullbridge, to auction a pumpkin she had carved.
The orange vegetable can usually be bought for £2 but the celebrity factor saw Abi's design fetch £57.
Highest bidders Diane and Emily Hoy can now put their unique pumpkin on display at home for trick or treaters ahead of Halloween on Thursday.
All money raised from the auction will be donated to St Luke’s, in Nethermayne, Basildon, which needs to raise more than £3million a year to continue providing specialist care for people with life-threatening illnesses.
