Cyclist injured in crash

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital with a head injury after a collision with a car.

The incident happened at 9.10am at the junction of Flemming Avenue and Blenheim Chase, Leigh.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southend Hospital with a suspected minor head injury.
