POLICE investigating a burglary in Southend have released an E-Fit of a man they want to speak with.

The break-in happened at an address at The Grove between 8.30am and 3.30pm on Monday January 13.

Intruders kicked open the front door, ransacked rooms and took electrical items valued at a four-figure sum.

The items included a black Toshiba laptop, an iPad2, a 250G Xbox, a 4G Xbox, three console controllers and a pair of Turtle Beach headphones.

Investigating officer, Dc Christian Forbes said: "I’d really urge everyone to take a close look at this E-fit and see if they can recognise the man pictured, as it could help us to solve this crime. "
