A WOMAN escaped with minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Wickford.
The collision was at 5.30pm on Friday on London Road, near to the Carpenter's Arms roundabout.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Officers attended at the scene and the road was closed by the Carpenters Arms pub while all three emergency services dealt with the crash. The vehicles involved were a blue Peugeot 106, a red Citroen C4 and a white Ford Transit panel van. One person was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene for what were believed to be minor injuries. Police remained at the location until the road was cleared of debris and fluids by the Highways Agency at approximately 9pm.”
