POLICE have closed part of a Westcliff road as they prepare for tomorrow's visit by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
London Road is currently partially blocked at its junction with West Road by officers.
A police spokesman said: "Police are carrying out some search activity in connection with the forthcoming Royal visit."
The Royal couple will visit be visiting the Palace Theatre, on London Road, tomorrow, where they will watch a performance by pupils taking part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival.
