Three burglaries in Rochford road

POLICE are issuing a warning to residents in Ashingdon Road, Rochford to be wary after three burglaries in the road in January.
On January 11 a property was broken into and jewellery and personal documents were stolen.
A day later the owner of another property found thieves had broken in by breaking glass and again jewellery, documents and a St John Ambulance silver medal was taken.
A third victim found their home had been burgled on January 29 when the rear doors were broken and cash and two Ipods were taken.
In the last burglary two men were seen in the area and detectives want to hear from any other witnesses.
One was described as white, mid 30s, average height, plump uild, short dark hair, wearing blue jeans, navy blue fleece top, white trainers. He was using a white iPhone and was observed as looking out at the front of the address, keeping an eye on the road.
The other man was also white, similar age but much taller, skinny build with short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a navy blue fleece and black trainers.
There was also a burglary in Pevensey Gardens, Hullbridge overnight on January 11-12 and detectives are linking this with the Ashingdon Road incidents. In this burglary a large number of items of jewellery were taken after thieves had broken into the property.
