Back to the 1940s for Corringham charity dance night

NOSTALGIA and romance will be the order of the night at a vintage valentine dance in Corringham.
A duo called Perfect Vintage will be singing hits from the Forties while A2 Jive dance group will also be performing.
Community charity the Thurrock Community Chest is teaming up with St Luke’s Hospice to put on the event, next Friday.
Perfect Vintage are Brian and Cherie, two professional singers with a passion for all things vintage.
Expect to hear all the classic songs from the wartime era and also from the Thirties.
A2 Jive are an Essex dance group based around Forties style jive, jitterbug, swing and rock ‘n’ roll dancing.
The event is being held at the Springhouse Club, Corringham, on Friday, February 21. There will be a licensed bar and snacks available.
Vintage dress is optional.
