POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a flat in Westcliff.
Between 4.50am and 7pm on February 10, a flat in Whitefriars Crescent was broken in to after a ladder in the rear garden was used to gain entry through a window.
Stolen from inside was a small three-figure sum of cash, a Makita power drill and a distinctive men’s 24 carat golf Girard Perregaux watch worth in excess of £1,000.
Residents are reminded of the importance of securing any ladders they own in outbuildings, sheds or garages.
