WHY do we only see the Police when they attend a 999 call, or some top-nob is visiting, and NOT just Basildon area?

I have to agree, although there are many many very good but rather unfortunate people that live in Basildon. Its a shame really that a minority have no self respect or respect for where they live or for other who have to live near them,.
