WEST End star Lee Mead has announced an exclusive show at the Cliffs Pavilion.
Lee, who hails from Southend, will perform at the venue as part of his third UK tour.
The singer and actor found fame in 2007 after winning the title role in the West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat on the BBC show, Any Dream Will Do.
He has since had starring roles in the musicals Wicked and Legally Blonde, and is a founding member of the West End Men concert show, which played at the Vaudeville Theatre in London as well as around UK and overseas.
Lee will perform to local fans at the special event on Sunday, October 5.
Show promoter Michael Taylor said: “He will entertain everyone with an evening of songs from musical theatre, as well as music from the great Hollywood musical era and some of his own personal favourites.
“Come along and join Lee and his terrific band in Southend, it’s a show not to be missed.”
Joining Lee is the leading man from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End musical Bombay Dreams, Stephen Rahman- Hughes.
Stephen was also a founder of the West End Men as well as award-winning band Teatro.
