POLICE want to question a man in connection with a fraud investigation.
The man met a Billericay man, aged 23, outside Billericay train station on Sunday, February 2 and sold him an iPad, as advertised on online sales store Gumtree, for £200.
However, when he later connected the ipad to the internet he found it had been stolen and was not the model advertised.
The man, who is described as 6ft tall, medium build, aged around 22 with acne scars on his face, said he had been travelling from Rayleigh and the victim believes the man pictured is the man involved.
Police want to identify him and question him about this incident.
The suspect was wearing a black and white bomber jacket, jeans and a baseball cap.
Anyone with information should contact investigating officer Dc Jon Holden at Basildon CID on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
