POLICE have arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder relating to a stabbing in Southend in the early hours of Sunday morning.
CCTV images of the two men police wanted to speak to about the incident were released yesterday and the men were arrested later that evening.
Both men arrested, one 20 years old and the other 18, are from Southend.
The victim, from Rayleigh, suffered a stab wound to the abdominal area at around 2am on Sunday, March 16 outside the Slug and Lettuce bar on Southchurch Road.
The victim remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
