A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash in Basildon.

Two cars and a lorry collided in Broadmayne just before 3pm this afternoon.

The accident was on the roundabout the junction with East Mayne.

A woman aged in her 30s has been taken to Basildon Hospital with neck, back and abdominal pain.

Her condition is not thought to be life threatening.

The police closed Broadmayne eastbound from the junction with Timberlog Lane while they dealt with the incident.

People go too fast around that roundabout my son and I have nearly been knocked down twice on that crossing and yes we always cross when the green man lights up , it's the second crash in a week.
