Echo: Bar Blanco Bar Blanco

A MAN has been charged over a fight at Bar Blanco in Rayleigh last summer in which two women were badly injured.

The brawl broke out at the bar on Eastwood Road at 12:15am on Sunday, June 30, last year.

A woman aged in her 40s, from Surrey, suffered a broken bone in her jaw and needed extensive treatment to damaged teeth.

Another woman, in her 20s, from Wickford, required an operation on a nose injury.

Gokhan Gurler, of Seabrook Gardens, Rush Green, Romford has been charged with one count of affray.

The 29-year-old security guard is due before magistrates at Southend next month.

Bar Blanco was co-owned at the time by The Only Way is Essex star Ricky Rayment, leading some to dub it the town's "Towie bar".
