A MALE in his 20s was rushed to hospital after falling 14-feet to the ground from a bridge in Shoebury on Wednesday morning.
Paramedics were called out to the railway bridge on Maplin Way at about 11.05am and took the casualty to Southend Hospital to be treated for head injuries sustained in the fall.
An East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesperson said: "We received an emergency 999 call following reports that a man had fallen from a bridge.
"We sent an ambulance to the scene and the crew assessed the man who is in his 20s. It's believed the man fell approximately 14-feet and injured his head in the fall."
