A WOMAN was so moved by the help a charity has given her in caring for her disabled son she is preparing to walk over hot coals for them.

Jane Morgan, 38, of Bourne Avenue, Laindon, is gearing up for a stroll across the fiery surface along with more than 100 other people tomorrow.

She decided to take part in the Brentwood Firewalk because of the support it gave her in looking after her son Callum Miller, eight, who was born with cerebral palsy and several other conditions.

Miss Morgan wanted to raise money for special needs charity Snap, which is based in Warley, and has helped support her by offering things like respite care and activities for Callum and support sessions for his older brother Connor, 11.

Her enthusiasm has also led to her dad David Morgan, 62, of Devonshire Close, Laindon, taking part too.

She said: “I wanted to do something for the charity.”
