A WOMAN who was featured in a police CCTV appeal over a stolen bank card has been ruled out of having any connection with the crime.

A cash card was used at Morrisons in Hadleigh during the afternoon of Sunday, March 23.

It had been reported missing a few hours earlier by its elderly female owner who lives in Benfleet.

The card was also used later on during that Sunday afternoon at various locations in east London.

A CCTV image of a woman was issued to the public on Monday, May 12.

The woman pictured came forward to police and they are satisfied she is an innocent member of the public.

Their investigation is continuing.
