LEE Mead is heading back to his home town with a show at the Cliffs Pavilion in October.

Lee will be in concert with special guest, singer and actor Stephen Rahman-Hughes on Sunday, October 5 at 7.30pm.

Show promoter Michael Taylor said: “The best seats in the stalls are selling out fast, and the show hasn’t even appeared in the Cliffs Pavilion’s brochure yet.”

The performance is an exclusive south east Essex live show by the Southend-born singer.

This performance is part of Lee’s third UK tour.

Mr Taylor who is presenting the special evening in association with Eclipse Artists Agency added: “He will entertain everyone to an evening of songs from musical theatre, as well as music from the great Hollywood musical era and some of his own personal favourites.”

Lee Mead is best known for winning the TV programme Any Dream Will Do which catapulted him to stardom in Joseph in London’s West End.

He also had starring roles in the musicals Wicked and Legally Blonde and was a founder-member of The West End Men concert show which played at the Vaudeville Theatre in London as well as around UK and overseas.
