POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with a random attack on a man in a Canvey pub.

The 27-year-old was assaulted in the Haystack in Furtherwick Park Road at around 1.45am on Sunday, April 6.

He then went outside the pub and was subjected to another assault.

A man has been charged with the second attack offence and will appear before magistrates in Southend on Wednesday, June 25.

Pc Samantha Winter, of Southend CID, said: "I need to identify the man who was responsible for the assault inside the pub.

“The victim was punched several times in the face for no apparent reason, causing a cut to his lip and a nose bleed.

“This efit has been completed by a witness so may help us to identify who is responsible.”
