Upper Mayne is in Basildon. The A127 runs at least two miles south of Billericay.

Does anyone who works at The Echo actually come from the area?

Does anyone ever read these reports before publishing them to the website?

I couldn’t agree more. No wonder the rest of the country has poor grammar (and speaks/spells in trite, lazy Americanisms) when professional journalists cannot master English.
