A HEADTEACHER is determined to bring fun into the classroom with a host of after-school clubs.
Kents Hill Infant Academy, in Kents Hill Road, Benfleet, is offering children several new extra-curricular activities.
Headteacher Shirley Tait believes it is the school’s responsibility to broaden the children’s horizons. Kents Hill runs cricket, athletics, basketball, street dancing, cheerleading, computer and science clubs, as well as Bollywood dance classes and a Lego club.
Mrs Tait said: “My view is children are never too young for anything. We offer this wonderful variety of clubs and encourage our pupils to take part.
“If they try something and don’t like it, that’s fine, but we are very inclusive and like everyone to be able to take part.”
