MEDIEVAL sports and country entertainment wowed crowds at the Robin Hood Country Show.

Jousting displays were put on alongside adrenaline- fuelled quad bike shows at the actionpacked event in Garon Park, Southend.

Dogs and ducks joined falcons and ferrets for animal lovers to see, while foodies sampled the delights of food tent.

Meanwhile, energetic children climbed an inflatable tower, flew on bungee trampolines and chased each other around a laser maze.

Green-fingered visitors were also treated to an area dedicated to gardening.

The event attracted thousands of people.
