AWOMAN is shaving her hair to raise money for a cancer charity.

Eloise Canty, 27, of Hilton Road, Canvey, will lose her shoulder-length locks, donate it to the Little Princess Trust and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The trust provides wigs for youngsters who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment.

Eloise said: “I’ve always done Race for Life, but when both my grandad and uncle got cancer this year, it gave me the motivation and it made me want to do more.”

She said: “I’m really nervous, but it does grow back and there will a little girl somewhere with hair and feeling good for a day.”
