TODDLERS have raised £2,340 to help save babies’ lives through a series of “sensathon” events.
The colourful Wild West themed events, designed to stimulate youngsters’ senses, were held at Eastwood Baptist Church and St Saviour’s Church Hall, Westcliff, in aid of the medical research charity Tommy’s.
More than 140 children in cowboy and cowgirl outfits listened to country and western music, sang campfire songs, watched a sock puppet show and listened to Wild West stories.
Tommy’s supports research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and supports parents-to-be.
