CHILDREN can travel for just £2 on the buses during the school holidays.
For the whole of August on Arriva services in Southend, Rayleigh, Rochford, Castle Point and Basildon, a child day saver will cost £2, allowing unlimited travel on all Arriva buses across the area for a day.
The saver will also apply before 9am.
Arriva spokesman Richard Lewis, said “The extension of our off-peak child fares means children won’t have to wait until 9am to take advantage of cheaper fares.
“For those travelling longer distances or making multiple journeys during the day, the Day Saver offers great value for money – with the benefit that the more journeys you make, the more you are saving.”
