POLICE are continuing investigations into a glass attack that left a man with a 4ins gash in his head after a teen was released.

A 33-year-old man from Southend was hit in the back of his head on Eastern Esplanade, near to the Halfway House pub, on June 12, at 7pm.

A 19-year-old from Southend, arrested after the incident, has been released from police bail and will face no further action.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
