A CHARITY has benefited from a handout from a retailer.
Southend’s Dystonia Society, which provides information and support to people with dystonia in the area, has benefited from £420 from Waitrose, in London Road, Leigh.
The society looks after people who have the muscle movement condition, which sees them suffer from abnormal postures.The cash was collected through the green token scheme, with a collection box placed in the store.
