WORKS on the Olympic legacy at Hadleigh Farm have reached the halfway stage, two years on from the Games.

Today marks two years since Hadleigh Farm hosted the London 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike events In 2012 over 40,000 spectators flocked to the farm over two days to watch the world’s best mountain bikers go for gold.

Works are well underway to revamp the park and Olympic Mountain Bike course to open to the public in March 2015.

The final bricks are being laid at the hub which will host a café, bike shop, bike workshop, ranger’s offices and a multi-use classroom. There will also be a 400 space car park, an outdoor children’s play area and seating.
