MORE jobs have been created in Basildon thanks to a new shop opening up.

Yours Clothing will open at the Eastgate Centre today after shoppers told the clothing store they wanted them to open in the town.

The business ran a survey and asked customers where in the country they should open next, with Basildon coming top.

A spokeswoman said they are opening two new stores across the country a week.

She said: “We have created 12 new jobs and we have chosen Basildon due to high customer demand.

“We asked our customers where they would like a store next and Basildon was one of the top choices.

“We haven’t had a store there before and we are extremely excited.”

Big queues are expected at the Eastgate Centre for the opening with customers being given £5 off their first purchase when they sign up to emails.

The store will sell plus size clothes in sizes 14 to 32.

Yours Clothing previously had a store in Rayleigh and one at Lakeside.

well it will fit you then won't it?

Who are you to criticise anyone? I've seen you and I know you're in no position to criticize...

I'm a size 10 but I have been a size 14 and there's nothing wrong with that. The average UK size is 14 actually so you are knocking millions of women in that size range. Who the hell are you to do that?

Just a nasty, vicious, jealous harpy. Next time you're at the council meeting why not insult me to my face rather than on here. Do it in front of witnesses eh?

As for Yours previously being in Rayleigh, it's still there. Come on Echo, get your facts right AGAIN.
