Funny the malteasers one got mentioned as i Had the Malteser one, but alas theres no malteasers in it just bits of dark-ish chocolate..!!
I can however recommend the Sundaes and Big waffles and the crepes, yes i been 3 times already, a bit chaotic last week or so since opening as just finding their feet, its a great addition to Southend and i have my eye on the Mint sundae or Coconut one next time round all a reasonable price with the exception of a mug of tea which is over priced but thats just a minor point.

Cocoa was originally mixed with many spices including chilli when consumed as a drink by the Mayan culture. The europeans brought it home and sweetened it for our tastes. A good example of a benefit brought to our shores by other cultures which I'm sure you'll embrace Kim.

Service has been a little hit & miss i must admit, staff seem mainly the inexperienced ones in their first ever job and some slight communication problems when ordering/paying,(and its cash only at the moment) but i am sure it will level out so give them a chance in all fairness, and the desserts really are great.

It seems to be the way of the world now. Go down
virtually any High Street now, and every other shop
is either a coffee shop or fast food outlet.
Not to mention Charity and phone shops.

What you have to understand is this very question of prioritising your customer's needs, for example a waiter can spot at once, a troublesome and needy customer, as opposed to someone who isn't going to be objectionable and fussy, when this happens expect to be seated and served last, as this is a business to generate income, something which can be thwarted should a difficult and obtuse customer is treated to the 5 star treatment.
Remember that one's own attitude will be reflected in the way you're treated.
