TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of exploiting women into prostitution and supplying drugs.

The arrests were made when officers from the Kent and Essex Serious and Organised Crime Unit executed search warrants early today, Wednesday August 27. They were investigating the activities of an escort agency, Girls4U, based in Essex. 

A 38-year-old man from Shoeburyness and a man aged 68 from Brentwood were arrested on suspicion of: conspiring to arrange or facilitate the prostitution of a child under the age of 18, intentionally controlling the activities of another in relation to prostitution and supplying Class A and B drugs.

Both men remain in custody at an Essex police station as enquiries continue.
