THIEVES who stole jewellery and £2,000 in cash from a house in Westcliff are wanted by police.
The incident occurred at a house in Westborough Road between 6.30pm and midnight on Friday, August 22.
They climbed over a gate to get into the garden before forcing open the kitchen door to enter the property.
Gold bangles, two gold necklaces, gold hooped earrings and several rings, both plain gold and some with diamonds, as well as £2,000 in cash were stolen.
Anyone who has been offered similar items for sale or saw any suspicious activity in the road that night should contact DC Christian Forbes at Southend CID on 101, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
