A RAIDER stole jewellery and thousands of pounds from a house while the owners were at home.

The burglar broke into a house in Browns Avenue, Runwell, through a skylight window before being disturbed by the owners.

They left the house and ran off across a nearby field. He was wearing a dark hooded top.

The stolen items include a ring with an open mouthed teeth design on it, a yellow metal ring with ‘Donna’ written on it, another yellow metal ring with ‘mum’ written in white stones and a gold ring ‘Wayne’ written on it.

Cash totalling around £2,000 was also taken.
