A NEW photo has been issued of a teenager from Tilbury missing from her home for more than three weeks.
Police have renewed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of 16-year-old Jessica Pittaway, as they grow more concerned for her welfare.
She was last seen leaving her home in the town on Saturday August 28.
It is thought the teenager is staying with friends in the Chadwell Heath and Romford area but has refused to make any contact with relatives.
Jessica was found to be working at a business in Chadwell Heath but when a relative went to the site on Wednesday to urge Jessica to return home, she ran away.
A police spokesperson said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are now appealing for any of her friends to call officers if they have any information about her whereabouts.
"When seen on Wednesday Jessica was wearing a grey onesie. She has long red hair which is now slightly curly."
Anyone with information should contact the Local Policing Team at Grays police station on 101.
