MODEL and presenter Jodie Marsh turned up at a Leigh vegetarian restaurant as she began filming for a new series.

Marsh, who is from Brentwood, was at the Oak Tree, in Leigh Road, for the latest episode of Jodie Marsh On...

The episode, which is expected to air on Sky channel TLC on October 28, explores the subject of celibacy – with Marsh interviewing one of the restaurant’s regulars about why she decided to abstain from sex.

Restaurant owner James Anderson, 34, was excited to have Marsh and the film crew there.

He said: “It was all very last minute because we only found out on Sunday they would be filming here and it was very difficult to run as a restaurant in the morning, but we’re really pleased with the exposure.

“Unfortunately, Jodie had to get changed in our two-by-one metre storeroom full of boxes, which is probably not the glamorous life she’s used to, but that’s all we could offer.”

After leaving the restaurant at about noon, the film crewmoved on to Bell Wharf Beach, in Old Leigh, before packing up.
