A HAUL of high-value watches and jewellery were stolen from a trading estate.

Burglars smashed the glass in a rear door of a property on the Manor Trading Estate, in Benfleet, and fled with wedding and engagement rings, a gold bracelet and a diamond ring.

They also stole an 18ct gold Rolex Oyster watch, serial number 55YT7309, a Rolex Master Two, serial number 57J984Q5, and another Rolex, serial number V635205.

An Apple iPad and an Apple Mac Book Pro laptop were also taken. The thieves fled with a safe, and officers are investigating whether this was opened and discarded somewhere else.

The burglary took place between 8.50am and 4.30pm on Thursday, October 9.

Police want to hear from anyone who have been offered any of the stolen items for sale.
