IN OUR coverage on page 8 in Monday’s paper, under the headline, How police have hit back in the drugs war, the Echo omitted some details in regard to three people who have been charged with drugs-related offences. Essex Police have now confirmed the details of three people arrested over three different dates last month.
We are happy to clarify that:
On October 22, unemployed Donna Caroline Finch, 49, of Swanage Road, Southend, was charged with possession of amphetamine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis.
On October 28, self-employed Abdul Botan, 23, of Gaverick Mews, Tower Hamlets, London, was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possessing criminal property (£1,585 in cash)
And on October 30, window cleaner Joshua Adams, 30, of Clifftown Road, Southend, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possessing criminal property (£2,360 in cash).
We are happy to clarify the above.
